Of dysfunctional wireless routers, and appeasing the wireless Gods!

We bought a new wireless router for our apartment.

The last one that we had was, well, sporadically at its best, and pretty useless the rest of the time. We couldn’t connect to our own network, or would frequently get disconnected for no apparent reason. One laptop would connect smoothly, the other wouldn’t. Things like that.

Our old wireless network was called Hamesha, meaning ‘Always’. It was meant to signify that it would always be there, and so on. Evidently, that didn’t work.

Learning from our mistake, we’ve now named our new network KabhiKabhi, meaning ‘Sometimes’. Fingers crossed.

PS: If you’re buying a router, don’t buy TrendNet. They’re bad. Trust me.
